On September 8th, 2008, the world lost a beautiful horse named Cameo. Cameo was a stunning Morgan Welsh cross and actually resembled a Cameo necklace. Her face was so delicate and fancy. She loved to be loved a lot more than she loved to be ridden! Cameo suffered an accidental injury to her leg at her former boarding facility from which she was unable to recover. She passed on surrounded by those who loved her and with a fresh carrot in her mouth. And in our dreams, she gallops freely in the beautiful grass pastures of Seabreeze where she will live in our hearts forever because we all know how happy she would have been here....
Somewhere....somewhere
in time's own space
there must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some Paradise where horses go.
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again
